Sponsorship Opportunities
It would be my pleasure to speak with you regarding the Herb Haygood Off Season Skills sponsorship opportunities. Herb Haygood Off Season Skills is a non-profit organization created to reach youth from diverse ranges of cultural, demographic, and academic backgrounds. By raising funds through various camps and charity events we purchase and donate football equipment to under funded local schools incapable of providing current equipment to its participants. The camp is dedicated to guiding the youth to success by teaching fundamentals and skills necessary to increase individual and team performance on and off the field.
Past camps have been offered to the youth of the Sarasota, FL and Lansing, MI areas as I was blessed to have my high school and college experience in those great communities. I graduated from Sarasota High School in 1997 and went on to play collegiate football at Michigan State University, and traveled the world playing in the National Football League, European League, Canadian Football League, and Arena Football League. I am entering my fourth season as a college football coach. I have high aspirations to give back to the community by dedicating myself to helping kids and aspiring athletes.
With the generous support of area sponsors and individuals we plan to provide expertise in the areas of coaching and incorporate special guest speakers covering topics such as leadership, attitude,substance abuse, and the importance of education. These coaches and guest speakers scheduled to teach and inspire the youth throughout the week will represent such organizations as the NCAA and the NFL.
Individuals and/or Companies offering their support will receive recognition in various camp publications depending on sponsorship level, on the camp website, during the introduction of the event itself, as well as the chance to attend the camp so that we could thank you personally for your support.
The estimated camp attendance will be 100+ area youth per camp. The week long Football Skills Camp will take place at beautiful Warner Camp in Grand Junction, MI July 5th-11th, 2010.
This sponsorship opportunity is your chance to assist in the development of the youth of our future by providing them with the opportunity to enjoy the game of football and the camaraderie that come with the team environment. In return, our hope is that this camp will inspire the youth to be leaders and team players on the field as well as in our communities.
